Sue's McK & Cheese
good comfort food!
ingredients
- 1 box Elbow Macaroni (should fill 3/4 of the dish or a tad more)
- 2-3 eggs (I use 3)
- Sharp cheese (3 small rectangle blocks)
- Velveeta cheese (small block)
- 1/2 stick Butter (real)
- 1 can condensed milk
- Garlic powder (I use a lot)
- Ms. Dash (regular) (until I see the pepper very well)
- Paprika (nice even sprinkles over entire top, not to heavy)
directions
- 1
Boil macaroni until al dente. It will become tender while baking.
- 2
When macaroni is done, strain well, put in baking dish.
- 3
Cube cheese and stir it in the warm macaroni.
- 4
Mix eggs, milk, garlic, Ms. Dash in a glass bowl. Melt butter pour in mixture, stir well. Pour this over the Mac & Ch in the baking dish, mix it around. The liquid should be just under the very top of the macaroni, so add water (little at a time) to fill. Sprinkle it with some paprika.
- 5
Place in pre-heated oven on 350°F for 1 hour.
- 6
*Measurements are based on a rectangle 9X13 Pyrex baking dish.
