Brie in Phyllo
ingredients
- 4 inch Brie round
- phyllo dough - freezer section
- 1/4 cup any preserve you want (raspberry, apricot, cherry or strawberry work well)
- 1/4 sliced almonds
- 3T butter

Cut a piece of heavy duty foil into a nine inch square. Place on a baking sheet

Unfold phyllo and cut an 8 1/2 inch square
- 3
Place on sheet of phyllo on the foil square and brush with butter. Repeat layering four sheets total. Bring edges of foil up pressing lightly against Brie to form a phyllo bowl for the Brie, using foil to hold up phyllo.

Spoon preserves on top of Brie and sprinkle with almonds.

Bake 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until phyllo is lightly browned. Let it stand 5 min and gently peel back foil and remove it. Using a wide spatual transfer Brie to a serving dish.
