Chicken Tortilla Soup
Great soup that’s oh so easy. Great for those cold-weather days!
ingredients
- 2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
- 1 Can Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Pace picante salsa
- 1 can green chiles (4.5 oz)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 cups chicken, cubed
- Shredded Cheese
- Sour Cream
directions
In a large stockpot, whisk together all cans of soup. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, salsa, green chiles, onion, garlic, chili powder and salt & pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add cilantro and chicken, simmer another 30 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese & sour cream.
