Here’s a great tangy - tasty punch for entertaining your company! Makes a pretty nifty presentation, too!

ingredients

  • 1 bottle chilled champagne - 750 ml(your pocketbook!)
  • 1 C light-colored rum (or vodka)
  • 1 C Orange juice - your choice
  • 1/4 C lemon juice
  • 1 C fine sugar
  • 2 tbsp triple sec orange liquer
  • 2 fresh oranges, cut into slices (no seeds)
  • 12 med-sized fresh strawberries, halved
  • ice cubes

directions

Combine all liquid ingredients (except for champagne) in a large punch bowl (remember...presentation is everything...use a nice punch bowl!). Stir in sugar until dissolved into liquid. Chill for 2 hours. Add champagne, then orange slices and halved strawberries (reserving one for each serving glass). Dump in the ice! Put on some good music!
