Shortcut Cinnamon Buns

Traditional cinnamon buns are made with yeast, but our biscuit-dough buns are faster to make and just as delicious.
ingredients
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon water
