This Tell-a-Friend offer starts on May 7, 2008 and expires on December 16, 2008. To qualify for this offer: (1) share at least one recipe or set of recipes or invite a friend through a Tell-A-Friend window on the TasteBook service (e.g. in the My Account section); (2) your referrals must sign up for the TasteBook service through your shared email (so we can identify the referral as yours) and (3) your referrals must complete the registration process by providing verifiable account information and accepting our terms of service.

For every 10 referrals we receive that meet the above requirements, you will receive a credit for a free TasteBook with 25 recipes. We will send you an email to the address listed in your account, letting you know when a credit has been earned. Each credit will expire 90 days after the email notification is sent to your address. Upon expiration of the 90 day period, the credit will no longer be available. The credit does not include shipping, taxes, customs fees or other similar charges. This offer is limited to 5 free TasteBooks per household. No partial credits, substitutions or cash equivalent will be given.

Holiday TasteBook $1000 Reasons To Cook.

THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY FOR TASTEBOOK'S $1,000 REASONS TO COOK SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID IN RHODE ISLAND, COLORADO, PUERTO RICO, AND WHERE PROHIBITED.

Sweepstakes sponsor is TasteBook, Inc., 2240 Sixth Street, Berkeley, CA, 94710 ("Sponsor"). The Holiday TasteBook $1000 Reasons to Cook Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States (except Rhode Island and Colorado) and the District of Columbia who are aged 18 or older as of 12:01 am (EST) November 1st, 2008.

There are Four methods to enter the Sweepstakes.

Method 1 (if you are not currently a member of the TasteBook service). Complete the following steps: register for the TasteBook service at tastebook.com by accepting the terms of service (be sure the "Chance to Win" box on the share page is checked) and providing a valid email address. That's all you need to do to enter the Sweepstakes. After you register, each time you share your recipe with friends and family during the Entry Period, you will automatically receive an additional entry into the Sweepstakes. The "Entry Period" starts on November 5, 2008 at 12:00am and ends on December 16th, 2008 at 11:59pm.

Method 2 (if you are already a member of the TasteBook service). Complete the following steps: the next time you sign in for the TasteBook service, be sure the "Chance to Win" box is checked. That's all you need to do to enter the Sweepstakes. After you sign in, each time you share your recipe with friends and family during the Entry Period, you will automatically receive an additional entry into the Sweepstakes.

Method 3 (if you are not currently a member of the TasteBook service). Complete the following steps: Subscribe to the TasteBook Newsletter on the footer of tastebook.com. You must provide a valid email address. That's all you need to do to enter the Sweepstakes. After you register, each time you share your recipe with friends and family during the Entry Period, you will automatically receive an additional entry into the Sweepstakes.

Or Method 4. For each entry, you can send a postcard identifying your email address to Sponsor at: "Holiday TasteBook $1000 Reasons to Cook Sweepstakes Request," c/o TasteBook, Inc., 2240 Sixth Street, Berkeley, CA, 94710. Each postcard needs to be postmarked by December 9th, 2008.

Your entry is non-transferable. If your entry is the winning entry, we will notify you by sending an email to the email address you provide through your registration with the TasteBook service (or the email provided in a postcard, as described above) ("Prize Notification"). You will then be required to provide all reasonably requested information and meet all eligibility requirements. You will also be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, as well as a liability/publicity rights release. Sponsor must receive those materials within fourteen days of the Prize Notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded in a "Second Chance Sweepstakes" random drawing (see below). The winner must meet the requirements described in this Section before the prize will be issued. If the winner (1) cannot be contacted at the email address given, (2) is contacted and does not respond as directed within seven days of attempted notification, or (3) refuses the prize or is ineligible to accept the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded in a "Second Chance Sweepstakes" as described below. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, postage due or misdirected entries or email, mail or other communications failures. No mechanically reproduced entries or facsimiles are allowed.

The winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries. One (1) prize will be awarded, consisting of a Cooking.com gift card in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00). Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. The prize may not be redeemed for cash. All taxes and any expenses on the receipt and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner (the winner should consult appropriate tax advisor).

By entering, you agree to: (1) release the Sponsor and its agents from all liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from your participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance, possession and use/misuse of any prize; and (2) be bound by these Official Rules. By accepting a prize, you consent to the use of your name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation in all media worldwide.

Any Sweepstakes materials that are mutilated, tampered with, contain errors, or are obtained other than through authorized channels are automatically void. Employees of Sponsor, its advertising, promotion and production agencies and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Only the advertised number of prizes will be awarded. If for any reason including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes), the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant found tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Sweepstakes or who violates these Official Rules.

Any prize that is unclaimed as described in these Official Rules will be awarded in a "Second Chance Sweepstakes" random drawing to be held on or about December 30, 2008. All non-winning sweepstakes entries via shared recipes and postcard will automatically be entered into the Second Chance Sweepstakes. Odds of winning Second Chance Sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries received and unclaimed prizes.
